Content That Connects

Live Group Program

What if you could use your love of writing to grow your business?

Let’s face it, you know that content should be a priority for your business but in reality, it’s one of those activities that keeps getting pushed to the side.

You love to write but… you don’t know how to do it for your business in a way that generates results.

Maybe you’re already writing blog posts or newsletters, but it feels like shouting into the void (is anyone even reading? All you hear is crickets!). Maybe you’re not sure if you’re even doing this ‘writing for your business’ thing right. If you were, surely you’d have more clients!?!

And… if you’re honest, you don’t love being on social media and traditional “marketing” makes you cringe. Everyone says you should be making videos and reels, but you’d rather stick pins in your eyes than get in front of a camera.

With so much confusion (and resistance), it’s no wonder that growing your business with content feels like a pipe dream.

But I’ve built my business this way — twice over.

And I have helped many clients become more visible and reach more of their ideal clients by creating a regular, creative, enriching writing practice.

The truth is:

When you create content as an act of service to your clients, it becomes an extension of what you do and how you help. Instead of being extractive (trying to push for the sale), it’s a way for you to give generously, add value, and share your point of view.

With written content like blogs (as opposed to social media), you’ll reap the rewards of SEO (people are searching for real answers when they find your content), and you’ll build trust and connection with the people you’d like to work with.

This is the kind of writing my brand new 7-week live group program teaches you to do.

Introducing Content That Connects

This 7-week live group program is focused on using long-form written content to grow your business and reach. (When I refer to long-form content, I typically mean blogs, articles and newsletters that come in at around 1000 words or more).

In it we’ll look at cultivating a writing practice, improving our writing for business, creating a month’s worth of content and implementing a content marketing strategy that ensures our content gets seen.

In short, we will address the biggest reasons why creating content for your business is so challenging, and what to do about it so you can build a consistent, effective practice.

Challenges like…

  • Being able to find the time to write consistently.
  • Building an audience so people actually read what you’ve written.
  • Overcoming self-doubt, self-criticism, and fear of how others may respond or judge.
  • Not wanting to ‘add to the noise’ and ensure that what you write is original, meaningful and adds value for your readers.

We’ll also cover the Big Questions: What, Where, How, When

  • What to write about (what topic, style and point of view)
  • Where to put your writing when it’s done (blogs, newsletters and other content platforms)
  • How to write (tips, strategies and feedback to improve your writing).
  • When to write (as a mother of two young boys with a full schedule, I have some very practical ideas on this).

And, you’ll learn how to amass a treasure trove of content you can repurpose, so you get more mileage out of the brilliant ideas you’ve already had — and don’t feel the pressure to constantly create fresh new content.

Who am I to teach about content?

Hi, I’m Caroline Leon, business coach for conscious changemakers who want to grow their businesses with integrity.

I was that kid who always had my nose in a book and when asked by adults “what do you want to be when you grow up?” would confidently reply, “I want to be a writer.”

The truth is, I never became the Pulitzer Prize winning novelist of my dreams but in many ways I do write for a living.

As well as a 6 year career in Public Relations and Communications, I’ve been blogging, first for fun and later for business, for over 14 years and content has been one of the primary ways I’ve grown my business, my reach and my income.

Over these 14 years, I’ve developed habits and systems to make the most of my “inconsistent” inspiration and sometimes stuttering flow of creative energy to maintain a consistent online presence with my content.

The result has been a well developed point of view, a clear message, a goldmine of written intellectual property and a steady stream of new clients and signups to my workshops and programs.

My ideal clients? The ones who have read my content. Why? Because they already understand my approach and point of view and want my support precisely because of it.

If you love to write and want to apply that skill to your service based business, this program contains everything you need to be able to do that effectively, creatively, consistently and strategically — without taking the fun out of it!

You might be a fit for this program if…

This program isn’t for everyone. If you can relate to the following then this program might just be what you are looking for.

    • You love to write, it’s something you do for fun but when it comes to transferring that love to creating content for your business, something isn’t working.
    • You’d love to improve your writing as well as learn a strategy for getting your writing seen without feeling pushy or salesy.
    • You’re not crazy about social media and would love to have an effective strategy that maximises visibility without feeling the need to dance on Tik Tok or make reels for Instagram.
    • You have the time, space and commitment to do the work included in this program.
    • You’re a conscious changemaker such as a coach, healer, teacher or therapist and have an approach and a message you want to share.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What if I don't complete the content during the 7 weeks?

Your comitment to getting at least 4 pieces of content written and to reviewing 4 of your peer’s pieces of content is essential to your success in the program. This isn’t another course packed with information that you’ll never implement. This is a program where we get the work done.

I get it, life happens and of course we can’t predict what will come up during the program so if you absolutely can’t write 4 pieces of content during the program, then you can of course implement this later but it’s not recommended.

What if I don't agree with the feedback I receive?

I’ll be sharing a review template with everyone to look at key elements of your content so that your content is optimised for connection. You don’t need to implement any suggestions given but getting a cross section of reviews from a group or like-minded people should be useful.

Can this approach work for me even if I don't like social media?

What makes this program different is that it focuses more on what I call long-form content. That means blogs, articles and newsletters. However, to maximise visibility, I believe some use of social media is important. That said, I use it solely to promote my longer form content and as such spend very little time on social media.
